Joan Stauffer Mays was born in Pittsfield, IL and spent her early years on a farm near Fish Hook, IL with her parents and 2 sisters, Donna and Anita. She attended Patricia Stevens Career College in St. Louis, MO and graduated with a major in public relations. Joan has been in the real estate business for over 30 years. She and her husband, Alan, are part owners of Mays LLC, REALTORS® where she serves as Relocation Director. She is on the Board of Directors of the Quincy Humane Society and a member of the First Union Congregational Church in Quincy.  Joan has served on the Board of Directors of the Quincy Association of REALTORS^®  She has 2 children, Andrea and Joe and 5 grandchildren, Kollin, Mckenzie, Meredith, Jack, and Clara.
